I tried to use Loathing on my PC a long while ago but gave up because I could only select the first seven units on the level out of the drop down menu. I got a new computer and it's doing the same thing.

So basically when I add new units, that's all fine, but the little drop down menu where I choose which units I'm using only has up to seven entries in it, and never any more. So I can only ever place seven types of units on a map. Which is boring as shit.

I thought getting a new computer would help, but it didn't. Guys?

Sounds vaguely familiar but I can't recreate it at the moment.

I assume you have a nice clean install of the latest Myth2 tools ? (I think latest Loathing is 1.5.2)

And for the record, those mapmakers insterested should talk to Myrd, because the latest Loathing build is "Loathing 1.7 build 313", and has many wonderful little tweaks that make using loathing more enjoyable.

For a quick example, ever managed to rotate a model so that it overlaps with another one, and you get that long list of error windows that you can only click OK to? Loathing 1.7 gives you ONE error, and notes that the error report has been logged to your mythlog.txt.

Myrd is the awesome.

carl i cant seem to find a beta for the 300 type plugin your making, any chance you can throw me a link other than the-package which doesnt work. i cant find the beta

I am too lazy to look myself, but did you check carlinhos folder on udogs? That would be the first place I would look. (assuming he has one of course) or...

when I check mything.org/links I see a link for Carl at http://carlinho7.tripod.com/ but I don't see a Greek plugin download link there.

hey, there's not a beta as I never released it yet...hehehe
the one you where looking for is the Ancient Greek plugin BETA , which was my first attempt at hoplites and greek warfare based on the fall of troy
it was just a step where all this new plugin started....but is old technology...

I'm scripting right now, slowly scripting and will finish eventually....
don't worry, shitty or not, I'll release it, don't want to keep it in the basement forever.....
