screen shots and youtube

here are the screen shots i have so far. enjoy.
p.s. if anyone thinks they can be good enough to put a decent looking sky on these, let me know.

How are you doing the horizontal view thing?
Re: screen shots and youtube
It's a custom internal build created specifically for publicizing Myth content. If you're a developer or a keen mapmaker I'm sure you might be able to aquire a copy through Myrd.
Currently I think only Axe and Jon God have this build?

Re: screen shots and youtube
Anyone else surprised by how good (read: not sucky) those sprites look from that angle?
Re: screen shots and youtube
Yes, it's quite surprising, given that they were designed for a camera angle ~27 degrees lower.
Re: screen shots and youtube
myth's highest camera angle is more like 40-45 degrees, but all units are rendered at around 25
Re: screen shots and youtube
they do look good. and although the ground cuts off at a point, it still looks rather decent.
the feet though, are the only "funny looking" parts

Re: screen shots and youtube
Not very practical to play in that view anyway.

just kidding, thanks to Myrd I did this amazing camera angles, to show the fun stuff of the greek stuff (yes I know, I haven't scripted in months...sigh...but did I tell you I hate to script?)
