The Tain

Gotta say, this release marks a big day for Myth. A long time in the making... Myth finally has HD units and projectiles. While this doesn't drastically alter gameplay much, it certainly makes it sexier. Projectiles (such as soulless spears) are also far more visible, especially on darker maps... a subtle but welcomed improvement. Combined with all the work that's gone into detail textures over the last several years... Myth almost looks like a modern game :)

Monumental achievement here! The new units and textures look so good I had to go to the hospital for priapism!

Arguably the most important update to Myth in over 25 years. This addon is a must for players old, returning and new. It looks incredible. So much care has been put into maintaining the feel and character of the original sprites. Sourced from the original assets and tools used to create the models, this plugin is the most faithful rendition of Myth in high res that could ever be created. A true remaster crafted by a true fan. Hats off to Jon God for this magnum opus.

Wonderful been great to play through Myth and Myth II again. I have noticed there is a bug in campaign saves in this edition. If you save (I think after random triggers) you will get an out-of-sync error when loading the save. Can be recreated by saving on Myth II Redemption, any time after the first large waves of Mykridia start arriving. (I believe where they spawn is randomised)
