Return to StoneHeart

by GimpMask

Shortly after the release of the original StoneHeart, I was asked by quite a few players to create another version with a few changes. And so I did, and here it is. I did get sidetracked however, which is why it took so long to release (this plug has been 99% done for months).

Here are the differences in this version from the last:

  1. The actual mesh (elevation) has been reworked a bit to make it smoother and more realistic.
  2. There are now five meshes (detailed below). The previous plug has been divided into two meshes for ease of play(see below), and a two-start and four-start version have been added as well as a twelve-start dark version.
  3. The two seperate meshes the previous plug has been divided into are called "Pathfinder Battle" (for the flag rally version with Pathfinder Dwarves and Mauls), and "Chaos" (for the Archer hero, Dwarf and Stygian Knight combo).
  4. "Pathfinder" has the option to trade for a Heron Guard Hero as well now.
  5. Two-start and four-start meshes were made for those that like more breathing room and for large team games.
  6. The number of Territories flags have been reduced (they are now inside the keep).
  7. The "star" games of the two-start mesh are a new twist on play (Assassin and King of the Hill game types). See more on them below on the mesh details ("Two Armies").
Meshes:

Chaos.

This is the standard StoneHeart mesh, similar to the previous plug. This mesh has 12 starts and is designed for players ready and willing to get in the thick of it fast (hence the name). It is included here to make it easier for people to have all game types in one plug. Note that "Pathfinder Battle" is now the version that has invisble Pathfinder Dwarves in it.

Game Types: Assassin, Body Count, Flag Rally, Last Man on the Hill and Territories.

Units: Archer Heroes, Dwarves, Mortar Dwarves, Ghôls, Journeyman (or Heron Guard Hero), Stygian Knights, and Wights.

Special note: Archer Heroes are non-tradable and are only available on Heroic or Legendary difficulties. Heron Guard Hero is Assassin target and replaces Journeyman on that game type only.

Two Armies.

This mesh has two large armies of the general variety found on other meshes in this plug. I recommend that this mesh be played with more than one player per team because of the number of troops.

Game Types: Assassin, Body Count, Capture the Flag, Flag Rally, King of the Hill, Last Man on the Hill and Territories.

Units: Archer Heroes, Berserkers, Dwarves, Mortar Dwarves, Ghôls, Journeyman (or Heron Guard Hero), Mauls, Stygian Knights, Warlocks, and Wights.

Special note: The game types Capture the Flag and King of the Hill have been added to this mesh. Also, the game types Assassin and King of the Hill are featured in this mesh because they have a gameplay twist, detailed as follows:

Last but not least, I included a giant two-start version of "Pathfinder Battle" in this mesh as well, but only when playing Flag Rally. I just can't help myself.

Four Armies.

Just like Chaos above, except ther are only four starts (in the corners).

Game Types: Assassin, Body Count, Flag Rally, Last Man on the Hill, and Territories.

Pathfinder Battle.

This is where it all began. Invisble Pathfinder Dwarves make this mesh a blast! A Heron Gaurd Hero has been included in unit trading for those who think it might help...

Game Types: Flag Rally, Last Man on the Hill, and Territories.

Units: Dwarven Heroes, Pathfinder Dwarves (permanently invisible), Mauls, and a Heron Guard Hero.

Special note: You'll hate it or you'll love it, but try it...

Vile.

For those that dwell in the darkness, a mesh has been made for you as well. This mesh has twelve starts and features some of the nastier beasties available to the myth community.

Game Types: Assassin, Body Count, Flag Rally, Last Man on the Hill, and Territories.

Units: Bre'Unor, Fetch, Mauls, Myrkridia (small), Spiders.

Special note: Mauls only appear in Assassin game type, as they are the targets (you get 2). The Bre'Unor also have healing ability and one root each.
