Group of Coops #2

by BadThrall of Creation

After 7 months into the making of Group of Coops #2, it has finally reached the end. Group of Coops #1 had 10 solo maps for TFL, which all held the same kind of misson objective. Group of Coops #2 however, has 45 levels with 13 Multi maps and with many different mission objectives and many random events throughout almost every level for Myth 2, meaning that not every level in GoC2 will play out the same way twice.

There is no story for GoC2, so any way you play the levels is fine. All levels are from M2 maps, TFL maps, and 3rd Party Maps. Expect to have hours of fun with these levels and I encourage you to enjoy it with your Myth buds online!

  • All TFL Physics 2.0 Features are built-in GoC2
  • New/TFL Units:
    -- Bonemen
    -- Northmen
    -- Forest Giant (Mormith)
    -- Fir'bolg (Gor-Ash)
    -- Myrmidon
  • TFL Maps:
    -- Mudpit
    -- Carnage
    -- Ambush at Devil's Overlook
  • 3rd Party Maps:
-- Hills of the Crow (Soma)
    -- The Ritual Site (Soma)
    -- ShadowVale (modest)
    -- VR Pool Party (Deathwore)
  • Berserk and Heron Guards have improved smoother attacks.
  • Interface changes.
  • 45 solo levels, yes I said 45.
  • 13 Multi levels from the 3rd Party maps have also been included
  • 1 Extra Plugin holding another 5 levels for TFL!
  • New Death sequences for berserks, bowmen, herons, thrall and warriors.
Extra:

**Group of Coops #2 TFL:

Heh no, this doesn't have 45 levels for TFL. These were some of the solos that I was going to have for GoC2 during the TFL times. There is around 5 levels in it, some may not end but they should allplay out right. You have to play these levels in TFL multi-player mode. Hold down the space bar when clicking Single player levels inthe options area and all the GoC2 levels should show up. The mission objectives for all these levels is that you must survive. You can doit!

Final Notes:

GoC2 pushes the engine to its limits on some maps and it is recommended you have as much RAM in Myth 2 as you can to make sureyou experience no crashes!

Ever wonder what it would be like to control your troops during those battles in Braveheart? GoC2 will give you a taste of that and some of these levels will show you how much madness can happen in one game!

All your units will be have a color blue on them to stand out from the rest of the enemy, so you can easily see which troops are notyours when your playing a Single Player Game.

All these levels will give you some great fun when your not online, however some levels were made for cooping purposes and may be very hard to take on a level alone! So find a bud and go to online and have somefun.

One last thing, if a level continues to not to work for you, has an error with it, has a bug, and others say also that something is wrong with that level. Then I will fix that level and release it separately and maybe with an extra level included!

Update 10/7/00 :

There is a small problem happening to Haxor Ways on it ending too quickly during game play. This is my mistake and there was no way anyof the Beta testers could have caught this one because this was one of my last minute changes. So I didn't spot this one until it was released.
