Who ever sends me a icon suite files by the time I make the new builds tommorow can have the honor of being the official icon set for Build 271.

Send your files to icons at busybsoftware com

We will need final icons in the near future so post your entries here so we can start a poll next week.

Graydon can you please upload those somewhere, I really want to use them even if they aren't the official ones, which they SHOULD be. (tried IconFactory cause I saw the link)

my only comment (other than that they look good) is that the hammers aren't very distinct - i.e. they need a more contrasting edge and colour, if not brightness.

I agree with what lank said. There's too much detail on the blade of the hammers (axes?) which is confusing to look at, and when shrunk down there's not enough contrast between them and the rest of the icon. Perhaps putting a darker shadow behind them would help?

Also I think the smallest icons are too blurry, especially the Fear one. Otherwise, really gj :)

I agree with Iron. I believe for some of the best icons, artists make whole separate versions for the smaller resolutions, so those look as good as possible, rather than relying on the OS to simply scale down the big version. This is why, for example, Myth II 1.4's icon looks so bad when scaled down (example: OS X list view) vs Myth II 1.5.x's icon, which looks great even at 16x16 (because it has been adjusted by hand for those sizes specifically). Other than that, good work so far, and hope you can make these even better!

Is he dead already ? ;) Graydon, these icons r just 2 cool 2 be not implemented... Will they be used in in new patch ?

Capital's icons r also damn good - any chance for dl link?

The icons have been included in the past.... 15+ mac beta builds of 1.5.2 (now known as 1.6)..... I dont know what the fuss is :o
