Re: quick questions
im assuming 18 rotting peasant was used as a scenery item, not a unit... (open mesh 18)
the text above the units is done through scripting, read the 1.7.2 readme it's in there somewhere...

you might also need MythII Dialog Editor, if you plan to do more than just change the background graphic...

Re: Are you not ENTERTAINED!!! (what do ppl want in MultiPla
Assuming you're making a regular myth map I'd focus on terrain variety (both displacement and terrain types) to allow for strategic advantages/options, and a unique factor (something cool other maps don't have (game-play wise, not just visually)). as far as what I'd like to 'see' (I don't play myth)...

Re: Map-Making Feature Survey for 1.8
hey, I already entered your survey, but recently I discovered some things I feel are missing from myth: additions to the ANIM map action: - ability to animate to a specific frame (instantly) of an animated model. - ability to move models/animated models (x,y,z) (theres already a pitch/jaw animation ...

Re: Myth II 1.7.2 Final
some bugs related to myth models and animated models, if you'd like an example model, feel free to contact me... engine: - open GL ignores model 'transparent' cell option, cells show in game (this option still worked in 1.7), its hardly used in myth itself I think, but useful when making models that...

Re: MYTH total war at TWC forums
sooo, since 'someone' told me my name has been mentioned here, I should probably type something... 1: your map looks awesome, love the lil details, must have been an awful job to do, but the result is impressive, as gray pointed out it is still 'just' the M2 map, but I feel that, if you're willing t...

Re: myth3 for myth2
I'm still alive, and reading the forum once in a while, I am not in a position right now to work on mythII stuff, due to uhmm 'personal crap'... That was Gizmo's attempt, which never got off the ground besides a partially done interface and 1 level. There is another person called DarthRevan who is w...

Re: Anyone familar with Myth Interfaces
Don't worry, i'm not offended by anything Gray says, I'm really not that much of an asshole in this case though, and I'm actually a pretty reliable guy it's just that i've stated many times that I don't have time for myth projects right now since im busy graduating... and yes I'm not the nicest guy ...

Re: Anyone familar with Myth Interfaces
wow I just love being turned into the bad guy by Godz... maybe Raven should go through some old messages to read what I actually wrote, guess it's just a trick to get me to prove otherwise and hand over my stuff... but those type of tricks really dont work on me... anyway, theres an app called dialo...

just for the record, none of the content on site is mine, the only things I've ever publicly posted are at:
http://gallery.totalcodex.org/gallery/m ... emId=18833
which are pretty old, I also posted a few interface screenshots here and there...

yea for once I agree with Ren, well, almost, there are plenty of things you can do with 512ish triangles... the problem with me giving you files is that this is something Ive spend a lot of time working on, and it was meant to be a really precise port, all the scenery is in the right place, high res...

I send the guy a PM, all I read above is true, and yes killswitch patchwork can reconstruct cmaps... Also m3 maps have shadows added to some of the colormap, creating extra colors and problems, most of my documents were lost but I still have a local and a small selection of files, enough to finish t...
