I really had a lot of fun with this one. Good colormap, dark and dreary setting. Its a real challenge because you don't really have any powerful explosive units, you have to micro your melee really well and make judicious use of fire arrows against overwhelming odds. Overall very solid and lot of fun to play.

What an unjustified and locquacious description. This map can be summed up in one word: BOREDOM. If spending 3 hours getting chased by ghasts while you whittle them down with ONE or TWO archers and then try and chop the red ones with melee occassionally without getting paralyzed is your idea of fun, then download this. It isn't immersive or scary, there is no reward system in place in this map at all. Its like sawing wood. If you pull off the first few groups perfectly you get a couple units an hour later, 2 hours after that you get a couple more units. This map is a boring let-down. Indescribale failure when compared to Imprisoned. The colormap not sucking isn't some sort of bonus feature, regardless of how many plugins with horrible colormaps have been released recently. The gameplay is uncreatively plotted. New strategy, hah. Kill all your dwarves and most archers on any bungie map and you'll have more fun. Also, for some reason they changed all the taunts to the flinching sequence so be sure not to get hit with a war while taunting. ALso everything isweaker and dies easier on the player's side. Like archers needed to be any weaker? You want us to try and immerse ourselves in the dark and scary flavor of the map? Try making it dark or scary first.

Yeah, frankly speaking(like other man said), this map is little boring in the 1st part. But I was not 'very' bored. I could concerntrate at this one.

And the 'Defence' part was OK for me. Although enemies are weak units, you have no dwarves, too. You have to control the meelee units very well.

if i am not off my rocker then this map is just a slightly modified version of the Bungie Myth II training map???? i will have to side with toecutter on this one: boring indeed. if you are a person who is fascinated by wasting a lot of time babysitting units then you will love it. i will have to say though that micromanaging units does not equal 'excellent new tactics and strategy'. making a thing hard does not make it good or 'unique' and it does not automatically make it 'new'. calling something 'new' and saying that it needs a lot of thought is only a way to mask the fact that there is no real gameplay, just lots of badly balanced units.
