Single Player Map

Tag Des Tiere (Day of the Beast)

The Ultima has escaped from the tomb of earth in the Second Legion. Get Arlic to his troops in the northern area of Wight Falls, near the statue, to warn them about The Ultima. Use Arlic’s special ability to fight off the large packs of Mikridian. The Peasant carries one healing root as his special ability. On your journey to reaching the troops in the north, use your heal on Arlic before he dies, or the game is over. When you reach your troops, 3 armies will attack. You must kill all 3 armies. Once they are dead, The Ultima beast will come and attack. After the beast is dead you will win the game.

The Ultima Plugin

"Three thousand years ago, The Ultima was sealed in a tomb of earth by the Second Legion, with the hope it would never return. If it should walk the earth again, only destruction would fall in it's wake."

The Ultima unit was designed and imported into Myth II by Aiden Bordner of Horsepants. Chuck Sievert AKA Webscreamer modified the Ultima in Fear to bring it where it is today. Like every Myth unit, they have there strengths and weaknesses. The Ultima has a fierce fireball known as "Hellfire" that can be thrown from his mouth for a very long distance. To use the Ultima's Hellfire(his special ability)press the default "T" key and click on the enemy. His weakness is that he can not be healed back up to full health after he is hurt , he also receives a lot of damage from electric(fetch) and explosives(dwarfs). When you have the plugin activated, it turns all "Trow" and "Myrkidian Giants" to Ultima's. I found, when playing single player with the Ultima plugin activated, it adds a whole new dimension to the single player levels. You can also use this plugin on other multiplayer maps you downloaded. The more enemies the Ultima kills, the more accurate he will get. So vets do make a difference!

Other Information

The name “Tag Des Tiere” is German for the name “Day of the Beast”, which was the original name for the map The Ultima unit was going to be featured on. All of the scripting, story line, and voices were done by Webscreamer(Chuck Sievert). Cunbelin made the color map which is the feature map of all the Multiplayer maps. Aiden Bordner made The Ultima unit which he imported into Myth II. Webscreaner edited the Ultima to bring it to where it is today in version 1.0 and 1.1. Wights Falls 1.0 project was started around January of 2000. It was released to the public July of 2000. Versions 1.1 and 1.2 came out shortly after with bug fixes. Wights Falls versions 1.0 to 1.2 had no scripting nor a solo level. For the Ultima Plugin, it remained at version 1.0. We hope you enjoy Wight Falls II!
