1.8.4 seems to do odd things to lobby chat for me on mac build.

Not sure how this could have slipped in at the last minute, but I've temporarily disabled the download until the chat thing is patched.

We've reposted a fixed build (Build 462). Please re-update. You can check which version of 1.8.4 you have by looking at the top left corner of the Myth main menu.

Honest question, how many people even download Myth II anymore?

How many know this site exists?

How many actually play online multiplayers at this point?

godz 1.8.3 got about 10,000 downloads mwc this year had a pretty good turn out of players. still probably only about 300 'active' players though with 1.8.4 maybe we can get a bump

Based on this thread so far, looks like at least 5 people know this site exists. Not sure about the other questions

I know it. And so do friends. And even though we've not been online in years, we meet regularly to play Myth. And we enjoy the improvements and admire the energy the people behind them invest in this project. Long live Myth!

Yes, I was planning to post the builds in a week or so to make sure there's no other issues discovered. Looking at GoS, a lot of players are still on 1.8.3, so I'd like to give it some time to catch on.

Thanks for that new update.
FYI, on my W10 setup, Avira just detected a threat (heuristic detection - usually these are false positives) on the updater, freshly downloaded from Project Magma, and quarantined the updater .exe.
