Crash to UI Screen

Hello Everyone,

First, I have to say JOB WELL DONE! Both for the 1.8.3 and HD conversion packs!

Now on to my issue. Been playing the MTL and have played all the way to the "Shadow of the Mountain" mission, when I load up that mission, it just crashes to the UI screen. All the other mission up to that one played perfectly. The is no crash log either. Any suggestions?

Update....

Using Shadow 3 and still a no go. Error with Bezerk Observer mesh. Anyone????

When I used Renwoods HD Conversion I had problem with the Great Devoid also. I tried this level too and same problem. Seems something isn't working with the HD conversion plugin.

Yeah, it sounds like a bug. I will disable the HD plugin and see what happens.

Update:

Game won't run on the "save" games unless the HD plugin is running. Guess I will have to wait until someone gets this bug fixed. Or at least someone tell me how to get the Berserk Observer mesh to run right.

It is definitely the HD mod. Removed and started all over and reached the "Shadow of the Mountain" mission with no problems. Too bad. I liked the HD mod, but until someone fixes that, the HD mod is a no go. Might want to put out a disclaimer on this web sight stating that the HD mod is not compatible with the L2v and 1.8.3

I made a quick patch file for that issue, attached to this post. Just activate the plugin as a tagset along side the HD total conversion.

Thanks for the hot fix! Will give this a try. Just finished TFL though. I can always go back and play it again with the full HD working. If I have any other issues, I will let you know.
