Something happened

I had a funny experience with the intro sound on my plug Armageddon Universe Final Battle, after running 1.8.1 beta2. The sound runs in a very high velocity, like the chipmunks movie, anyone know the reason of that and a way to fix it?

In 1.8.1 beta 2, we changed it so that stereo sounds that are played on mono channels don't actually play at half speed. This was already the case before 1.7 on Mac and was the case when using OpenAL for sound (default on Linux and an option in settings on Mac/Windows).
You can fix this by halfing the frequency of the sound.
