Cannot Download v1.8

All the download links from pm and tain are dead. Is there another place to download v1.8 or can someone fix this?

Until the Tain is repaired, you can use the Internet Archive Wayback Machine to pull the updates down:

Anyone know when the tain will be operational again? Also, the wayback machine doesn't seem to have the files I'm looking for cached. Is there an alternative site I could download Jon God's detail texture megapack?

I can't answer your first question.
Here is the file info for the Detail Texture Megapack (as of May 2013):
Filename: Magma_-_Detail_Texture_Megapack.zip
Size: 61990781 bytes
MD5 Sum: fd13761e8c8b57b7c8357f3625136e61 Magma_-_Detail_Texture_Megapack.zip
If you Google the filename, you may find one or two mirrors or torrents that have it.

I've emailed myrd about the tain issue. Until he comes back to fix it, or someone else figures out how to fix it, we are just restarting it when we notice it's down.

Thank you for that, it's been a while since I played Myth and was very curious to see how the detailed textures looked.
It's really incredible what you guys have all done with this game in the past (plus) decade.
