After booting into Classic for the umpteenth time just to extract one file from a .gor file, I decided there had to be a better way.

Introducing UnTag (for lack of a better name). A simple app inspired by Tag Extractor by Vodi. It has (should have) all the same features as Tag Extractor except I have added two features:
- it runs natively in OS X
- it will work with TFL .gor files (not just M2/M3 files)

Download now:
Mac OS X Windows

Enjoy and please remember that this is still beta.

NICE TOOL.
As a windows user I have never seen the TFL tags in the familiar file tree format, only in a hex editor.

If you're a perfectionist, the Author URL text box isn't large enough to display the font it defaults to in Windows, although the Plugin Name is displayed perfectly.

Nice double click effect.

Awesome. Just the thing to let me grab collections from TFL plugins without having to use my wife's Mac. Thank you, Killswitch.

Great work Killswitch!

Would you mind if we mirrored your tool on hl.udogs.net?

You have a small bug. Extracted mesh effects should go into a folder called "mesh effect" inside the local folder. UnTag names that folder "mesh effects".

Other than that, great work!

And you see why it's called a beta. :;): I'm surprised no one has found more problems yet. Fixes on the way.
