For TFL we have 'fallen sounds' to pull out the sounds. Is there any program for Myth SB that does the same thing?
Thanks

No ... but if you use Head Edit to make the Myth 2 sound tag into a TFL one, you can then use Fallen Sounds to extract :)

Here's a little tutorial I worked up a while ago. You'll need a Mac for most of this, unless you can find alternatives to ResEdit, SoundApp etc...

You will need:

Fear (comes with Myth II)
Head Edit
ResEdit
The Fallen Sounds
SoundApp

The first steps are applicable to Myth II only.

Fear:

Open the sounds collection
Double click on each sound you want to extract and press return.

Head Edit:

Open the newly created tag in local -> sounds
File -> Save as
Select Myth 1 from the drop down menu
OK

ResEdit

Open the newly converted tag
Get info for the tag
Change the Type to "SOUN"
Change the Creator to "Myth"
Close the info window
Save

The Fallen Sounds:

(Select the sound file you want)
Select the variation you wish to extract
Sound -> Export variation...
Save
Repeat for each variation you wish to extract

SoundApp:

File -> Convert (Cmd-K)
Select extracted variation
Select your desired format form the drop down menu (usually AIFF)
Convert

And that's it!

Congratulate yourself, you deserve it!
