well there's an easy solution to that problem.. just sell your overpriced mac and get a pc

Or better yet, run Parallels or that other dual boot software and just run Windows ON your Mac. You do pay more for a Mac, but then again you are getting a computer that runs Unix, Windows OR the Mac OS X.

"will" run or "hypothetically could run"? I ask because in theory you could run OS X on any intel computer as long as you have the secret Apple chip-image or whatever passes for propriety safeguards Apple is using these days. I've been tempted to turn one of those mini <$200 netbooks into a hackintosh - but even with some really good online guides the amount of tweaking required and iffy status of peripherals/drivers (and amount of $ required to do it legally always makes me pause.
