What kind of specs do the overhead maps need (size and such things). Thanks!

Myth II Overhead maps need to be color indexed images, and if you're using Jade to convert the image into a tag (the recommended tool) it also needs to be Windows Bitmap format.

The size can really be anything within reason, but the overhead should keep the same porportions as you cmap, and should be no larger than 256 x 256 pixels (which is actually pretty huge for an overhead).

A lot of maps use 128 x 128, but Creep on the Borderlands had a 150 x 150 overhead.

When indexing the image, set the first three colors in the color table to some unused color (magenta or true blue work well) unless you're trying to do a transparency effect of some kind. Specific information about that kind of thing can be found in some of the better tutorials floating around out there.
