was wondering if there is a way to bring models from software packages like maya or 3d studio max into the myth III editor. if so is there somewhere that gives a description of how i might go about doing this?

3ds max is possible but only in versions 3 and 4. It may work in 5 but I haven ttested myself.

You'll need to grab the .skl exporter from the flyingflip hotline site. After that, you simple model and skin your model and go to 'file->export->FAKK2 Skeleton file (.skl)

That should do it.

For more complex models (trees that bend in the wind, units etc) you'll need to set up a skeletal system. Brainbug is 100% right about asking on flyingflip - I just happened to drop by here. If I'm there and you have a question about models I can answer it.
