New beta incredibly buggy

Post by killerking »

Hi guys,

The new beta seems very buggy to us, the players.
Several things I encountered during a night of playing:

-'running ghol' didn't trigger soulblighter's response on A murder of Crows
-Funk was unable to trade/move in two games. He dropped from one, but his units remained on the map and post-game score list
-Me and funk went OOS simultaneously while we were on 1.8 and the host was using the beta

Attached some replays.

Hey Killerking,

Very much appreciate your feedback, please keep the reports coming.

This beta has had a lot less private alpha testing than others in the past so we do expect it to be a bit more buggy. And don't worry, we won't release final until these issues are fixed.

This is unrelated to the 1.8.1 beta as it has to do with how Bungie scripted the level. Not always obvious because players tend to kill the ghols before they get to Soulblighter. However on the rare occasion it happens, there are certain ghols that do not trigger Soulblighter.

Is there a film of the OOS game from a player who did not go OOS? (e.g. the host)
