Video replays Out Of Sync

Post by VieForPower »

Not sure what could be causing this. Troubleshooting help?

I've recorded a few but my two favorite ones I can't even watch. It goes out of sync halfway through.

Load up Myth again and watch that film. After it goes OOS, quit Myth. Inside your Myth II folder you will find the "myth_log" text file. Copy/paste what is in there in your next post. It should have some clues. Also, what is in your "local" folder?

When playing Myth on the metaserver, the local folder is mostly ignored except for a few items such as formations and observer constants. When you play in TCP/IP, single player, or watch a film the local folder is not ignored. Some of your files are conflicting with your films.

The following is safe to keep in your local folder:

formations
observer constants

Delete the rest if you have no use for it. If you require those modified files then you can just rename your local folder and move them back in when you need them again. The tools file is normal too, but safe to delete as long as Fear and Loathing are not open.
