Why does your computer have brakes? Aren't the rubber feet sufficient to keep it in place?

Why is Myth going to school? You don't school Myth, Myth skoolz you!
The computer has brakes so it can slow down from 66mhz to 33mhz.

Myth is going to school so it can play LAN with its friends in the computer lab.

Sissy. Who uses brakes? I keep the pedal to the metal, mine's always at 90GHz. I can suck at Myth 100x faster than anyone else. Besides it has a bomb in it, if I let it go below 50GHz, it'll explode.

Just as a followup, I was never able to resolve this. I also checked the md5 sums for my M@ installation tags, and they're all good. I haven't been able to identify the driver or hardware that's causing this, but I have seen this kernel panic before while using eduke32 for macos, which I do believe uses opengl as well. So if this is an issue with hardware or opengl, I'm thinking there's not much I could do to narrow it down. Maybe check the system logs for something? If it's something corrupted with my opengl drivers, I'd probably have to reinstall the operating system as OSX doesn't let you install/uninstall drivers or anything. I'm doubtful it's hardware because I can game forever in bootcamp without ever having any crashes, ever.

Have you tried doing some searching for kernel panic related issues with 10.7.5? I did some searching and one piece of advice I have seen is to boot in Safe Mode to diagnose the problem better. I found this and that which might lead you to other methods to try to figure this out.

Yeah. So something is really screwed up. If I try to boot into safe mode, when I get to the login window my laptop's screen is all sorts of crazy colors. I can't see anything. It looks like a hosed graphics card really. BUT! The weird thing is I can boot up just fine out of safe mode. No glitchy colors on the screen. I tried resetting nvram/pram (long shot), but that made no difference. Here's a copy of my kernel panic from the crashreporter log. Anyone able to make any of this out? It's possible this could be bad ram as well. I had an issue with a ram chip I replaced that was throwing out graphical anomalies, but not causing kernel panics.
