installing on MacBook Pro Retina Display (NO CD DRIVE)

Hi,

It is time to retire the old laptop and move onto the new one.... BUT OH NO! no CD drive!

Any suggestions?

(i have the CD somewhere and I currently have a fully upgraded myth II install on the older laptop)

You can copy over your Myth II folder from the old computer into the new computer. Just delete the preferences subfolder so that Myth can get defaults for your new computer instead of using settings from the old that might not match. After that you can run the latest Myth II update if the one on the old one isn't really the latest.

For reference if an old installation of the game is not something you have, all you really need from the CD is the "tags" folder. Make a Myth II folder and place that "tags" folder in there. Then run the latest Myth II update found on the Tain and point it to your Myth II folder.
