Fear 1.8 crashes when pick Duplicate

duplicate is must have!
plz fix it!

I duplicated archer attack right something in sound list.

Does this only happen with sound tags? Does it happen with any tag you duplicate? Is this copy of Fear in a Myth folder where you ran the Myth2 1.8 update or did you copy/paste it to that location from another place?

it occurs in every tags, not only sound tag.
and its not copy of file. I just did duplicate.
your fear doesnt crash on duplicate??

what does it mean?
u mean my fear is copy one?
I installed fear in install program.

I mean did you run the Myth2 update to install Fear into that folder or did you copy Fear from a different place into that folder? The problem you are having sounds like a file writing permission issue. Meaning Fear or any other program in that folder does not have permission to write files in that folder. Running the Myth 2 update for both Myth2 and the tools should fix that.

I reinstalled the 1.8.0 installer...
OMFG NO WAY !

I chose Upgrade existing Myth II installation to version 1.8.0
this time.

Install Myth II Map Making Tools Only
about last time.

You are not giving enough information. What changed before this problem took place? When Fear crashes click "Report" then "Show Details". Select all the text, copy it, and paste it into a post. To close that window, you can then click "Don't Send". What is in your local folder? Did you lock any of the folders in there?

Right click in your Myth II folder and "Get Info". Go down and click on "Sharing & Permissions". Is your account listed under the "Name" column? What is your account set to (Read & Write, Read only, etc)?

Also, since you are using 10.9, make sure you are fully up to date. There may have been an issue that is affecting you and an update might fix it.

if it has matter how do I fix?
only if I fix local folder permission,
problem is not only that one, cos fear has folder like sound folder etc.
how do I fix inner folder. but its impossible to fix while editing new folder of fear.

I have a hard time understanding what you are saying. What do you have in your local folder? Did you delete or rename it to see if this fixes your issue? You said you fixed local folder permissions? So did that help?

I think 10.9 has a 'run as admin' type feature now, like Windows. I forget exactly how, control/right click + command? + option?, which will bring up a drop menu with the option to Open/Run as admin. Which in turn, I think, will fix the permissions from Read only to Read/Write automatically.

I have tried that linked explanation and still no way...!
and I meant if permission is made by read only mode on Admin
how could change read/write immediately...

and now, by the explanation change, admin is changed by staff.
OMG WOW now whats the matter!

admin and staff are same one??? why it has changed to staff.

but oh now I see the permission is all read/write!
whooooot now I can try..... wait a sec...

We can't fix a problem we don't have or can't reproduce. No one but you has reported this. So, if you want a fix, you have to start answering questions.

Did this always happen to you? Is it new to the Mac OS you are now using or did old versions of Fear work on the same OS?

I didnt remember just I have changed permission of Fear! LOL!

how do I change entire permission that including new file permission?
