I can autohost (on gateofstorms obviously), any requests? Whatever is asked for the most often is likely what I will autohost. Or if there are popular conflicting requests, maybe I'll rotate the autohost. I often check the chat between games.
(if you don't know how an autohost works, read
http://mythipedia.wikia.com/wiki/Autohost )
I don't remember what used to be popular, & I certainly don't know what is now, so feel free to specify EVERYTHING, and maybe you'll get what you want.
If your request is uncommon/"unpopular", but you have friends that want to play it, let me know when you guys play (& timezone), maybe I'll host it at certain times.
For free group voice chat for my autohost, get Skype, add jasonmh9 as a contact, I'll add you to the group call.
Skype WinXP/Mac/Linux: http://www.skype.com/en/download-skype/ ... -computer/
Skype for older Macs: http://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10936 ... Page=false
Make this easy, be thorough in your requests. What mapset (so I can download it), options, etc.
i.e.--You might specify like so:
Make ALL games standard MII tagset, NON-anti-clump, Normal difficulty, 16 players, 10min (unless otherwise specified), 30 sec plan time w/ trading, no vets, allow alliances, allow teams.
MII Gimble KOTH
MII Drowned Kingdom KotM
TFL Dance on Grave LMOTH 5min
etc

BTW, here are my current autohost map downloads required and settings (except when I've temporarily changed them by request):
(some people just sit "ready" in an autohost with Myth in the background, & return when they hear someone's started a game. If you don't know how an autohost works, read

Nearly all games standard MII tagset, NON-anti-clump, Normal difficulty, 16 players, 8min (6 min LMOTH, 7 min KOTH/Bacon), 45 sec plan time w/ trading, no vets, allow alliances, no teams

The maps are nearly all MII, Magma TFL pack, or the 3 Bungie post-release maps (Boil, Phoenix, Leagues). Here's the links to what you need currently:

I can offer the thought that you will certainly be interested. I sent you a Private Messege. Where all the details.

Re: Any autohosting requests?
i just wanted to mention, when you autohost 3rd party maps, and no one online has them, your AH gets stuck on a 3rd party map no one plays.
i suggest not using any 3rd party maps that are not TFL-multipack. ffaleaguev3 would be ok but i feel like not enough players have it (and the plugin is larger than TFL-multiplack). might be worthwhile to have more demo maps (gimble and desert only) than not, as players with the demo will only be able to play on this map (and players on the demo need to be convinced to get the full game). I currently have a strictly demo host because of the latenight players who sign on and only have the demo.

Re: Any autohosting requests?
Thank you for all the feedback (whether I use it or not )
They can click the game to auto-download the map. I usually check my autohost pretty regularly, so I sometimes push it past a map or gametype that's seeming unpopular at the moment. Maps/games that get lots of complaints, I remove.
I'd like to broaden play to good maps (or at least popular ones ) that have been popular in the past. Any 3rd party maps I use are ones that are among the most downloaded ever at the Tain. Likely a lot of people have it already, and if they don't, they should get it.
>i suggest not using any 3rd party maps that are not TFL-multipack.
I'm definitely including the 3 official Bungie post-release maps (Phoenix, Leagues, Boil), and I've had a lot of players use those maps on my autohost. If people don't even want to download Bungie maps...well, that's on them. Those maps have been used enough that I see no reason to remove them.
FFAleague is so big I've been reluctant to use it. I've only had 1 request for it. And it's been downloaded less often than some other maps. If I get enough requests, I'll use it. I may eventually put it in for a trial run anyway, see what happens.
>might be worthwhile to have more demo maps (gimble and desert only) than not
Ohhhhh! I didn't even think of that! Maybe I will put more in! Although, really, don't such people normally just find a route to pirate the game? Or buy it for $5 used? Do you think there really are a lot of demo-only people?

If it were finished, I'd ask you to host the next iteration of Deadfall.
But it's not done.
