Re: Autohost volume control?

Use the F-keys to increase/decrease the volume of Myth without affecting any other pgms running on your comp.

LOL, duh, I forgot about the F keys. Although several I've tried to use already don't work so well, because my laptop already has other functions mapped onto them, and even when I use the <fn> modifier key, Myth doesn't do the right thing.

I don't have the Myth II interface screen in front of me, but could you remap the volume keys to something you don't already have mapped to something else? Or if the FKeys aren't mappable, couldn't you just disable the conflicting volume key mappings in your OS's system prefs/control panel?

Luckily those volume F keys are working just fine. F11 & F12 aren't working right, and I think some others. And now that I'm less tired and actually looked around, I see F11 & F12 are mapped in my keyboard prefs to some OS functions. I'll have to go through them all and figure out which ones work or don't, and why.

In your Myth2 folder there is a Myth II Help PDF. It has a section on key combos which are new to 1.8.0. Not what you need, but it could help with other keys you didn't know you wanted to try.
