Something for US people interested in color mapping

Post by Isolder »

I always wanted PS when I was messing around with maps years ago.. wish this deal had been available for me then.

If you are a student in the U.S. near any semi decent college you can get the entire Design Premium suite for about $400-$500. Check at the local college's store if they have the Adobe Design Standard/Premium whatever suites STUDENT EDITION. The student edition is around $350-400, sometimes less. The suite has Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, and more.

Buy (1) credit hour at the college and this will get you a valid student id so you can buy from the college store. This will run about $120-150 for the credit hour.

The student edition license in the U.S. allows you to use the suite for commercial purposes or to upgrade to a commercial version in the future.

That's a pretty good deal. I'm not sure, but you might even be able to find PS by itself which would be even cheaper than the suite.
