Official 1.7 Public Beta Bug Reporting Thread

We are aware of the FPS issues with PowerPC Macs + Geforce FX 5200 cards, and are currently investigating this. We plan to fix this for the 1.7 final release.

If you are having FPS issues on 1.7 on a system other than a PowerPC Mac + Geforce FX 5200 card, please let us know. Thanks!

I need all Mac users who experienced lower FPS on the 1.7 Beta to download the OpenGL Extensions Viewer from:

http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/17 ... ons-viewer

And save the report it generates, and email it to me at myrd@projectmagma.net. This will help with crafting the fix for the 1.7 final release.

I already got the one from ducky... sasper and qwerty2 please e-mail me your reports - as well as anyone else having the issues. Thanks!

Not sure if this has been reported already but my saved films from 1.7 don't show up in the list when I go to view replays. They still appear in the 'recordings' folder.

How many recordings are in your folder? If you downloaded the 1.7 beta on the first day it was out (May 3rd), you should redownload it. There was a recording related issue so a fixed beta was uploaded later that same day.

OpenGL Extensions Viewer crashes when I try to run it.

Cant Install both classic and modern. When I click to install it says it cant find the SMACK. DLL. file. Syas to try and reinstall might help.

So Im basicly stuck in the water right now :)

It was made like that so people don't use the wrong beta. It makes people go look for the next beta (not out yet) and stops people from giving reports on old betas.

myth 1.7 beta expired???????? so used to the 1.7 camera that 1.6 looks like shit now... please either release a new beta or the final version ASAP!
