Re: Uncontrollable units damge doesnt count
Is there any reason you can't make them Ignore User Control instead of being Uncontrollable? On the surface, that seems like it would solve all your problems very simply.

Re: "Then we shall fight them in the shade"
Haha, yeah. I was taking a class on Ancient Greece in college and the prof told that story. I definitely had a stunned moment; I'd heard it in Myth first.
I'm pretty sure the part about the pre-death Myrmidons vainly combing their hair before a battle is also a reference to the Spartans.

Re: Scott R. Bakker
Definitely nothing like LoTR. Early on, it's more like nominally-on-the-right-side vs. in-the-way than good vs. evil, and then later it sounds like it will be nominally-on-the-right-side vs. totally-unrecognizable. The first three books read something like a cross between Game of Thrones and Total W...

From the thread:
"fir’Bolg! I spent a lot of time wondering if they were re-skinned human archers, or a modified unit. I’m pretty sure they’re just re-skinned human archers with new specialty arrow that temporarily freeze an enemy."

Re: Soulblighter 201 class ?
In Myth 2, a single click (without drag) will not only make the units face a new direction (directly away from the group's previous centre), it will align the formation at 90 degrees to this new facing. So your line of arcs that was facing the enemy is now edge-on and facing away to the side, in id...

Wow, that's quite a release! GB has always been a big hole in my solo campaign collection, and I'm glad to see it released in playable form--with tons of cool extras, at that.

Re: Soulblighter 201 class ?
My favorite dwarf trick that I learned from watching old films is to cross bottles as a last resort. If you have two ghols rushing two dwarves and the ghols might get just inside the minimum range of your next throw (i.e. your dwarf will turn and run instead of throwing), target the left ghol with t...

It would be nice even to see the betas released, as was done with The Great War or Shade of Gray.

Re: Map Missing Support
Your best bet for SOM might be Teepens/True Peril, who appears to have worked on some of those projects. None of the rest of them have been involved in the community for many, many years (I'm pretty sure they were gone before I became active around 2004), but I was in contact with Teepens as recentl...

If there's a road leading off the edge of the level, you may have to follow it. Otherwise, it must be a bug--I've heard there are some game-breakers in TSG 1.4. In this case, since you already technically won, you could just press CTRL and + at the same time to auto-win and go to the next level.

Re: Real World Distance to Myth Distance Conversion
Sounds about right. Though I have to say, if I had an army of archers and they could only shoot twenty meters, I'd be pretty sad.

Re: Real World Distance to Myth Distance Conversion
Which means that a world unit is exactly a meter, or roughly a yard if you prefer. Or was that known already?
