TFL > vTFL
As far as I'm aware, there has never been a change to the zoom distances? Since you have the disc, you could try running the pre-Magma executable, but it should behave identically.

Dude, those wouldn't even fit on a CD.
Maybe they have Portuguese-localized template tags?

3) In order to view a recording, in addition to the film, you also need the map it was played on (and the correct map version) in order for it to load. I think he's saying that they don't even appear in the menu (normally, you'd just be told that you're missing plugins). I think most of the times I...

Re: Pregames?
Both.
The credits are in the manual, although I don't know if the win/loss guys would also do the captions or one of the other three artists. Probably the same as did the TFL captions, though (those were pretty similar IIRC).

I think they changed to a Korean or Japanese OEM brand (similar to Matsushita in the old days), after a long run of Sony and Pioneer?
Quality shouldn't be that bad, but you get what you pay for, and optical drives run like $1 these days.

Re: Myth II Mac demo no longer available?
The Tain has these magical moments where it just loads completely blank pages. It will come back eventually.
The mirror site listed for the Mac OS X demo should still work, though.

Re: Myth II 1.7 Final
When action sniffing is hogging the controls, pressing the Up arrow to display the previous messages causes all history subtitles to continuously flicker (i.e., if there's an active message, it's drawn normally, but all the older lines flicker on and off as long as the Up arrow key is held). You can...

Re: Myth Tools running in PowerPC/Rosetta instead of Intel
I don't think it's ever been said that these were Universal Binaries. Actually, I can't think of much reason anybody would bother to make them Universal (unless Apple were to someday remove Rosetta, I guess). TFL updates would be pretty sweet (no, vTFL is not the same), but it seems like that ship h...

Re: Myth II 1.7 Final
PC Loathing has the same thing. I just change the team of the first one so I can edit the second one. After that I alter the first back to the team it was on. Though this is only with some of m2's maps I see this. I haven't messed with a 3rd party map that uses more than one of the same marker type...

Re: Myth II 1.7 Final
When viewing replays, although you can see underwater units, if you try to select them, they only become selected for a brief moment (any previous selection is lost, and the underwater unit you click on has its portrait and info show up in the status bar, but it gets immediately deselected). In the ...

When editing monster tags in Fear 1.7.0 (Mac OS X 10.4.11; PPC), if you open the Sequences editor window before saving, any changes made to the attacks are discarded when the tag is saved. To test, you can open "12 journeyman" (for example), double-click the "journeyman shovel swing&q...

Re: chimera: the warrior
Don't even get me started on the last level, that thing is EVIL. It also doesn't help the fact that it suffers from Myth 2 campaign syndrome i.e. if you lose a critical unit like a dorf early you might as well restart the level because you aren't beating it. Unlike Myth II (not to mention Myth), th...

Re: chimera: the warrior
I tried that savegame and honestly, it does seem pretty impossible to me. I wonder if something already went wrong before getting to that point which has doomed you. I don't think it's anything related to the updates. I looked in 1.3, and the level played just as badly. In Myth II 1.3, the game sup...

Re: chimera: the warrior
The negative % thing is likely a bug in Myth. Can you upload a film of this bug, so that I can take a look? You can load the saved game. When you lose (you will lose), the survivor count will be negative. All the fir'Bolg reinforcements are marked uncontrollable, so the game doesn't count them even...

Re: Need Myth 1.3 update for Mac
Where, exactly, are you being told that you need 1.3 before updating to 1.3.1 (the install should be drag-and-drop)?
