I an interim effort to crack down on spam all new registrations must be approved and the top forum is a dummy one to catch the SPAM bot posts.

What would be eaiser yet would be to go download the current build from http://thetain.net and keep playing it.

I'm afraid I can't find a copy of the mac demo download, but the windows one can now be downloaded from the 1.5.1 Demo download page.

omm I guess it's not obvious but all the links on thetain.net should give you Build 286. The "Update - PB" ones are for people who are updating from 1.5.1 or above as indicated below the link. The other ones give you a full update from any version of Myth II. If this isn't true please post...

If it's the same function as the one with the bug it works differently in Myth II then in TFL. 1.4.5 films will work in 1.5 with the exception of where this bug showed up.

Yes 1.6 beta has now expired and we have failed to finish 1.6 because of some last minute details came up and they have yet to delt with. Yes FF had a mpeg-4 version of these movies. We will have to see what the future brings.

Actually we have the original source for the movies which are in uncompressed quicktime format. That said there are currently no plans to do anything with them. The only way I see them getting released is as part of a re-release of Myth.

1.5.1 will suffer from not being a Universal Binary which is the main advantage of the OS X only version of 1.6. But sound wise they should both work the same.

Are you using the OS X only version of 1.6? It works on a MacBook Pro running 10.4.8 without issue.

:sigh: once 1.6 is out of beta it's too late to try it. You then either use it or not. The 1.6 public beta is almost the finished the version the other difference between it and what will ship as 1.6 are a few lines of code fixing minor bugs. As for 1.5 I'll look around for it and consider adding it...
