Re: 1.7 beta issues (mb?)

What video cards/drivers/OS are you guys using? I used to see this in GL on my ATI card in Windows (7) the odd time as well, but haven't seen it lately.

Re: Mouse trouble

What renderer are you using? OpenGL? Can you post the specs of your system?

Re: print screen in windows 7

Also try ALT-printscreen. This captures only the current window and may even work in full-screen mode (I don't recall). Alternatively FRAPS can capture screenshots and save them automatically with a bindable hotkey. Not sure if this is crippled in the free version though.

Re: How many plugins do you have?

3.39 GB, 63 files

I think I have the highest "density" plugins - average of 55 MB per plugin. That counts for something, right? :)

Re: Attention: 1.7.2 Bug Reporting Etiquette

The sizing behavior has been improved for the final version. Additionally the minimap will now remember your size from map to map so you won't have to resize it every load.

In the mean time just shift-rt click it. That will set it back to the 1.7.1 size.

Re: Myth II 1.7.2 Public Beta

The top image with dtex is wrong too... there's an incorrect "dark outline" around the path and near the water (where the dtex transitions).

As Myrd asked, what renderer? And definitely update your drivers and see if it still happens.

Re: 1.7.2 Suggestions

Huh interesting. I would have thought basing it on height alone (or both) would make more sense. Typically when you go to widescreen you want to "add width" rather than "subtract height", so in the same vein you specify FOV_y and compute FOV_x via aspect ratio. Thus I would have ...

Re: 1.7.2 Suggestions

That's funny, I have the opposite experience - now that it's bigger, I don't have to change my map size at the start of every game. If we get a lot of complaints we might consider undoing this but I suspect it's helpful for many. In the next version we plan to make it remember what size you set it ...

Re: Myth II 1.7.2 Public Beta

Set MSAASamples level (poweruser pref) as value higher than 1 is the reason of that bug. Unfortunately MSAASamples=1 doesn't make any real difference from MSAASamples=0. Aha. Yes I could see that being a problem... good catch. I'll take a look at that tonight. Indeed MSAASamples = 0 will default to...
