also, you can use a tool on the Tain called Chaos to help extract meshes from a plugin, most useful if the mesh has a lot of extra tags you dont want.
be careful combining stuff from different plugins, as its very likely to get tag conflicts that you may not even notice at first.

Re: CD Cracked! Need to buy 2 copies!
For the record, it is illegal to download myth 2, it is owned by Take 2 interative (not bungie). But since you already have the cd, it may not be an issue for you. The best route would be as vinylrake said and by a copy of green berets on amazon. Then download the latest patch from project magma, an...

Re: What computer item would you put in a 50 yr time capsule
I dont think regular magnetized items like hard drives and usb would last that long It would take more then a meteor explosion to eliminate all cd/dvd players ever made. It would be more of a record of culture, not necessarily enough time to help rebuild civilization with a 2 ft x 2ft box. I think i...

Re: What computer item would you put in a 50 yr time capsule
I would think CDs would last the longest
I would put alot of music and art, as that would probably be most likely to be lost in 50 years. Podcasts and video would be nice, history related stuff may also be forgotten.

Re: heals not using charge...
It is a healing artifact that has charges, but will not use up a charge when the unit heals itself. The charge is used up when you heal another unit. So basically you have infinite heals to self, but lose it when heal another unit. This is a "feature" in a couple plugins, my heroquest, jag...

Re: Need Suggestions on Making a Necromancer
I did not read it all... but noticed a few things Im not sure why you need to moma a unit in, if you are using a monster promotion projectile The dodge script looks similar to this, you might open up a ww2 map (like the camp) and copy that The starting geom should likely be set to never deactivate, ...

Re: Giving credit (among other things) should be a requireme
If you clearly state in the plugin title where the map comes from, a readme seems redundant. Also the Tain submission bio seems a good place for information, readmes can be hard to open. If its not a major plug of course Looking at the the plugins on the tain, I see a reasonable attempt to give cred...

Re: doubts about expressions in the "map actions"
I think the main problem with the melee action is that the enemy will not retarget units, but will stand still the rest of the game if no one gets close. Also, having to regroup into formation before attacking put the AI enemy at a huge disadvantage, because you can always out run them (or lead) as ...

Re: KROK the MAP Maker
Because green berets is sold separately as a new game, there may be some issues with uploading it (even modified), which is why no one else has it. Surely nothing stopping you from messing with it, but you might try and track down the author(s) and make sure its ok before uploading to the tain. Thes...
