srry I didnt read in time to help. I use GIMP alot on cmaps, I can try and help with future stuff if you need. Trial and error works best though :p I have not used it for awhile but, I think you just need to go to Image, mode, indexed, generate opt. pallete (max colors: ~240). Then go to File, Save ...

I think it would be cool if he could summon a pack of undead somehow, who just fight anything but the deciever.

Also some kind of green fire explosive or poison would be cooler than the disembowel. The mage in TSG has some cool green effects that I think were unused (but dont quote me on that).

I think it sounds great, we need some more coops to play. Need to keep it simple though, so it doesnt take too long to make...

I will certainly help test and mb help scripting gameplay. I dont know much about myth storylines though.

To have a unit start with an object, make a projectile group that contains the projectile, and link the proj group to the "Artifacts/Ammo" slot in the monster tag. If you want it to be in inventory, you have to check "carries multiple items". A simple script could also give the u...

I recommend GIMP, it is pretty basic and easy to learn. Also get cydonians map making tutorial, it is understandable even without PS.

I have been thinking about this, to make a landslide. My idea was to create a few monsters that look like boulders, and have maybe a one type "walk" downhill, and another tossing debree down after them. Idk if it would work, im not very good with fear. There is a landslide in bushido that ...

yea, a low, thin layer of blue fog around units in water would be cool, and probably not to hard. You could maybe edit the splash projectile to have a transparent blue mist or something. But it may look bad idk, would have to try it to find out I guess. One thing that ive wanted more than anything i...

Well, ive made some progress, and determined it is a scenery (limit?) issue. Very strange though. There are a few scenery items from TSG and a few from chimera, but other then that they are all m2, and theres really not that many of them. idk...

There is a level on sisters of the blade that has killer mud, and a ww2 plug "acid bath" that had killer acid. So I put it in my thorncastle map too, a little poisonous pool of blood. Im not sure how they did it, by I edited the ripple effect projectile that shows when you walk in the wate...

looks pretty good, few small things caught my eye: It needs shadows still, they help it to look softer on the eye and I think effect how projectiles look. So under shadows: basic shadows, mesh shading and model shading, in that order, and loathing will do it for you. Map edges are something that bug...

Ok, i'm having this problem again, crashing when I scroll map over any model. I seem to have reached some kind of model/unit definition limit, as I cannot add any more of either. I have 123/512 model types, and 34/96 Monster types, and 7/8 model animation types. Its a large map too, 2560x2560. If I ...

There is a program called Jade (on the tain), that can make any size OH map.

Its pretty simple, just run the OH map through jade, then put it in your collections folder and link it in the fear mesh folder.

From my expeirence, OH map sizes between 100-150 look the best.
