Re: Giving credit (among other things) should be a requireme

well Gray, _I_ read your readmes. I even read them out loud and recorded them and saved them as mp3 files on my iPod so I can listen to them during my daily commute. I love you. It's just that so often readmes and manuals have useful but obscure little tidbits in them. It sucks when you've been usi...

Re: Giving credit (among other things) should be a requireme

People actually read those? I find it insulting and completely illogical that people wouldn't read a README (specifically MY readmes, screw the rest of you). I spend all this time writing the thing; coming up with little blurbs, screenshots, images, even install instructions and then people ignore ...

Re: Myth II 1.7.2 Public Beta

Do you still want my system specs?

As for updating, I think I've pushed it as far as it will let me go without upgrading hardware.

I get a strange graphical problem if you play with Dtexes off:

Re: TFL, vTFL(The Fallen Levels) difference list

Huh, I could swear you could win like that in TFL. Now I'll have to reinstall TFL and try it out for myself. :D
Awesome video btw.

Re: TFL, vTFL(The Fallen Levels) difference list

Ghols in vTFL don't make melee units break formation and charge them when they taunt, they did in the original TFL. EDIT: You can't punt the head into the Devoid (and win) by blasting it with satchels/explosives anymore. You could do that in TFL. Although this is probably more a Fallen Levels relate...

Sweet. Are they going to be original maps or more remixes? Not that reused meshes are bad, I think they're awesome, but I'm curious.

Re: Official Deadfall release topic!

There's quite a lot of fog on many of the levels, I've found that if you zoom in you can see the detail textures better.

In both the PPC and UB builds for OS X: Unless you check "Detail Textures", "3D Fog" unchecks itself and "Max FPS" setting gets rechecked and goes back to 90fps when you quit and reopen the application. The resolution settings and everything else are unaffected. OS X 10...

Good work on this map! I got all the way to the end playing solo on Normal before dying (gonna try again soon, maybe coop on Legendary). I liked how the map made you try different strategies on all the groups of enemies. The lack of dwarves bugged me a bit, but that would have made the map a bit of ...

Every time I've played "The Village" on marius.net with 4 people (I'm not sure if this happens with less or more people, I'd have to check), if you lose all your units (including the copter) before saving any of the trapped villagers, the level doesn't end. The map considers the uncontroll...

Someone might have mentioned this but I didn't see it as I was skimming the thread. From what I remember, the original TFL ghols (might have been all units, I'll have to confirm that if I can find my TFL disk again) used to be able to get melee units to chase after them by taunting. This seemed to h...

They used to be on fileball.net...which is no longer around. I have some of Ooga's packs on my computer somewhere...I don't think I have all of them anymore (or if I do I don't know what's what...)...nor do I have the original readme's, but I can spot a few of Ooga's packs right now: Little Old Gran...
