Re: What happened to Pyro???

Doh - Pyro just informed me that myth-contributor "Godzfire" has past away. That's truly sad news. He'd been part of the myth community since 1998 or so - and he'd contributed a great deal of time and effort in shaping the myth community as it is today… all 9 remaining players. You'll be...

Re: What happened to Pyro???

Pyro left myth because he was starting to feel pressure and anxiety, mostly about mazzarin's demise. He revealed to me, in a private message - that he hoped the community understands his decision - but he felt he had no choice. Apparently, he recognized a trend of mazz players to utilize ventrilo, i...

Soulblighter Cane

An aging member of my myth order - GfH - was recently told that he needs to walk with a cane from now on. Through facebook - funds were collected, and an artist commissioned - to make him a custom cane that some of you will surely appreciate. http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/18699_10151580...

Re: Myth 1.8

Hi guys. My name is Spa - and I have been playing myth since I found the demo in the back of a MacAddict magazine in the late twentieth century. I would like to be included in the list of guys who offer up their computer specs: My dog is on my feet, keeping my toes warm, I am sitting on the toilet, ...

Re: Myth Kickstarter Project

Here, http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1039236244/the-nofa-nj-beginner-farmer-incubator?ref=home_location is an excellent example of a project that hopes to use kickstarter to reach their goals. I find it to be well thought out, reasonable in scale and scope, succinctly communicated, and somethin...

Re: Myth Kickstarter Project

I think that the remaining myth community - what seems like 2-3 dozen people at any one time - is supporting myth's perpetuity by 1. continuing to play myth, 2. creating new maps and units from time to time, 3. hosting servers for chat, file sharing, and gaming, I think that time has proven that the...

Re: Myth II 1.7.2 Public Beta

sorry about taking so long to log in here with my notes and observations. I've been trying to jot a few down on mnet till now. I understand the moonwalking thing will need films - and I'll try to take some notes when I see it in games - which are mostly mazz games - so I wonder how much of my proble...

Re: Mazz VI: Wisdom of the Mancers

of note - I just ran through my freshly loaded - and still smelling of pine balsam - Mazz 6-ver 3. I must have missed the meetings - for I thought a few basic things that were wrong would be the priority fixes, and modifying other elements would be extra. notes from tonight: Leveling up still scramb...

hey Baak, PPE suggested the other night that you might still have an archive copy of the Mill laying about - even if its just a jpeg of the landing page - I think it would be heartwarming to see it again - if not frame-able.

I used to play desert and gimble as much - if not more - than anyone - but that was back when the games were high quality fun. Over the last two years, I've come to learn that the new myth player style is to be bold, daring, assertive, and impatient. Very seldom do I see clever strats unfold, and sp...

zeph, ??

seriously, zeph - what I just downloaded and plugged in can't possibly be what you are talking about here. I just took a look at a few of them - and by no means are they completely new myth campaigns with rich new story lines and new units. They are exactly the same old myth 2 coops I've done a mill...

well, some games allow for what your asking about

while playing mazz - you will find that units reach levels of veteran status. the maximum leveling is 4 for most units - but some don't get that high. I had only one unit the other night on a Dream of Death game - the mortar - and had just over 1000 kills with him. He was incrementally better - just...

zeph, since you didnt solicit - and this isn't mariusnet - ill gladly reward you for your efforts with a crisp $100 to go out and buy yourself a nice dinner, a few drinks, and have enough left over for a manicure after working your fingers to their nubby bones. such an ambitious project certainly de...
